Cordless screwdriver

Cordless screwdrivers are so cheap now I buy a few.

Buy all the same brand so they can share chargers, which you put in several convenient locations.

With a small case of bits these take up less space than all the tools they replace. They are faster and easier than manual screwdrivers. (I keep one or two good-quality manual screwdrivers around for gently removing screws that are stuck or have stripped slots)

Magnetic bits are one of the great modern inventions, making handling small screws a breeze.

Buy a variety of fittings such as an extension, a round-the-corner joint, and a small flex drive.
